Chase's Treasures was started as a means of allowing owner, Jessica Pickholz, to work from home after her first daughter, Samantha Chase, was born. "This was the only way I could easily facilitate the maximum amount of visiting time between the baby, and my father, who was very ill with metastatic ocular melanoma. It was a big risk -- I left a job at a Wall Street firm in order to make this happen. But I would not trade anything for the time that my father and my little girl got to spend together."

That time amounted to just over 2 years. "All good things must come to an end," says Pickholz. "It was one of my father's favorite sayings. Yet, in a way, I feel like Chase's Treasures was born from his illness and death..." Business at Chase's Treasures is run at least in part as a tribute to its owner's father. "Without him," Pickholz says, "our e-commerce boutique would simply be a regrettably, idle dream."

who are you people?

we are an honest-to-goodness e-boutique that also happens to be a fully licensed business in the City and State of New York since 2006. Besides that, our president is a mom of 2 small children, Samantha Chase, and Alexandra Reese.

where did the name chase's treasures come from?

owner Jessica Pickholz named the business after her first daughter, Samantha Chase. while pregnant, Jessica spent some time on bedrest where she searched books, catalogs and the internet for all of the really cool things she wanted with which to outfit the nursery. you'd think it was an easy task, but a person can probably go blind looking at the same, character-inspired infant bedding and such online. "every time I had a really good find," says Jessica, "I felt like I'd come across treasure."

how long does it take to get my order?

well, this depends on what you order and if it's personalized. the average time it takes to process and ship orders for most of the personalized items is 1-2 weeks. We do everything we can to get your item to you as soon as possible. If there are any delays for any reason, we will send you and email letting you know.

do you ship internationally?

you bet we do. we have visitors to our store from all corners of the earth on a daily basis. it just wouldn't be fair letting them look but not buy.
